I am a full-time comedy writer and performer, always looking for further opportunities. I have experience of writing sketches, verses, gags, slogans, songs, stand up comedy and sitcoms. Tue 17 Mar 09 Only a few days to go until the second ever Thatchers Tavern Comedy Night, and I'm looking forward to introducing the audience to the three great acts we've got performing - Kevin Shepherd, Nick Helm, and Ben Briggs. Fri 13 Mar 09 After the gig on Friday 20th Feb, the total is now in, and - thanks to all the acts for their support - we raised £150 for Comic Relief. That's 30 mosquito nets, which means a lot of people sleeping much more safely at night. Many, many thanks to everyone who supported the night. Hope to see you at the next one! Thu 5 Mar 09 The line up for Friday 20th March at the Thatchers Tavern, Woodley, is now finalised. Alongside your host, a certain Gill Smith, will be three very funny people - Nick Helm, Ben Briggs, and Kevin Shepherd. Scientists are conducting an experiment into whether near-death experiences are valid. Is this just a new title for when drugs trials go wrong? |
